Visiting our soldiers
I was frustrated at the inability to do anything for our soldiers. Then it was shown to me that I could bring them my book
Seekers and Dreamers
to provide words of faith, hope and inspiration.

It was an honor to be presented a commemorative medal from the Director of Mologne House, a rehab center associated with the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC
We spent a day with the soldiers, distributing copies of Seekers and Dreamers and also my cd
The weather was cold but the spirit of our soldiers was warm as they faced with courage the devastating injuries received in war.
I knew I wanted to take one of my paintings with me to Washington, but wasn't sure to whom I would give it. Then I met Becky, the mother of a soldier whose leg had been amputated. Becky had moved into Mologne House and tended to the needs of her son for 7 months! She certainly deserved my small gift.
This is the painting I gave to Becky. It's titled Breath of the Living God.
