Little Kind Heart
Little Kind Heart
Little Kind Heart ... for those grieving the loss of a child
The Native American Indians have always held a special place in my heart, so I was not surprised when the story of Little Kind Heart came to me in a dream during a trip out West. After writing it, my friend, Daniel, and I were privileged to visit St. Labre Church in Ashland, Montana in the heart of the Cheyenne Indian Reservation.
Fr. Paschal Siler, O.F.M. kindly gave us a tour of the church and told us about the school which transports 400 children to class each day. It was then I realized it was the spirit of the Cheyenne which had lingered with me during my sleep the night before and were asking for the story of Little Kind Heart to be told.
These words have been recorded for you with the intention of providing comfort during your grief journey.
It is an honor to bring you the story of Little Kind Heart.
