Seekers & Dreamers

Angels have whispered to me all of my life.
Gently and quietly they have fed my spirit and stood on the sidelines of my days.
They listened with me as the drummer played a tune that echoed in the night;
they stood in silent vigil during my trials and disappointments;
they sang and danced with me to celebrate my triumphs.

And now, in the quiet of my days, the angels’ voices have become stronger,
no longer waiting for opportune moments to sit upon my shoulder
and whisper softly their words of inspiration.
The angels send a few words of a song,
then move my fingers so their words are written to the music of a poem;
they send a few words of a poem and put them to the tune of a meditation;
they send a meditation and put them on the pages of a book.

As long as they whisper to my heart,
I shall whisper to yours.

The golden sands of time pour slowly
Through the hourglass of our lives
And move our souls gently
To the dawn of a new day
